Ask any Trini, living at home or abroad and he
will tell you that there is no place on Earth, like TRINIDAD
and TOBAGO. The
islands' environment molds a people with a sense of spiritual
balance and humour that is as unique as its landscape. On a global
scale, a Trini may not cause a splash to change the course of
world events but he surely causes the world to be a happier place,
by the manner in which he touches the lives of other individuals
he meets from day to day. However, daily frustrations caused by
Government bureaucracy, difficult economic measures, hot and humid
weather, driving conditions, rising crime rates, cultural, political
and religious differences, are enough causes to drive anyone insane,
let alone seek a more sedate lifestyle elsewhere. Nevertheless,
he is left with a feeling of emptiness and yearns to return to
the bitter-sweetness of home...........
